Below is a draft of a law that defines how Haus Markov \\
(Judge bluenokkad, Burgess nokkad and Guard Captain BloodDrinker) \\
thinks office taking should be handled.\\

The TLDR of this law is "If your not on the list, your not allowed in office."
===== Authorized Office Law/Mandate =====
This law is intended to ensure clarity regarding the individuals authorized
to assume office, to provide a clear definition for the revocation of such
authorization, and to establish requirements for the maintenance of
appropriate records.
1. OFFICE ENTRY
a. No Aisling may assume any office higher than the rank of
"Respected Citizen" unless their name appears on the Authorized Offices
List. Furthermore, no Aisling may assume an office beyond the level defined
by the entries on the list.
b. If an Aisling has recently passed their exam, and the exam result has
been posted, but the Authorized Offices List has not yet been updated to
reflect this, they are permitted to assume office.
2. EXAMS
a. An Aisling shall have their name added to the Authorized Offices List
upon passing their exam.
b. The offices to which the Aisling is authorized to assume shall be
recorded based on the exam(s) they have passed.
3. REVOCATION
a. Entries on the Authorized Offices List may be revoked, either in full or
for select offices. When an entry is to be revoked, a post must be made on
the Judgements Board explaining the reasons for this action. This post
shall be mailed to the Aisling.
b. Should an exam result be invalidated as a result of an investigation or
review, the offices to which the exam would have granted access shall be
revoked.
c. If an Aisling engages in criminal behavior, as defined by Mileth Law, or
is incarcerated, whether in or out of office, their full entry shall be
revoked, and they shall be added to the Revocation List.
d. If an Aisling fails to remain active under Mileth Law for two (2) Deochs
or longer, their full entry shall be revoked.
e. If an Aisling receives six (6) or more major demerits within a span of
one (1) Deoch, their case shall be reviewed by a judge for judicial offices
or a burgess for legislative offices. The judge or Burgess may revoke
select offices or the full entry based on the outcome of their review. Each
additional demerit or probation may prompt another review as long as the
total number of major demerits within the last Deoch is six (6) or more. If
the full entry is revoked, the Aisling shall be added to the Revocation
List.
f. If an Aisling has two (2) or more active probations, their case shall be
reviewed by a judge for judicial offices or a burgess for legislative
offices. The judge or Burgess shall then decide whether to revoke the office
the Aisling currently holds, or revoke their full entry. If the full entry
is revoked, the Aisling shall be added to the Revocation List.
g. If an Aisling renounces their citizenship, their full entry shall be
revoked.
4. REINSTATEMENT
a. If an entry is revoked due to inactivity, voided exam results, or loss
of citizenship, it may be reinstated by successfully passing the required
exams again.
b. If an entry is revoked for disciplinary reasons, the Aisling may present
their case to a judge for judicial offices or a burgess for legislative
offices. The judge or Burgess may choose to reinstate the revoked entry or
entries, either in part or in full.
c. If an entry is revoked for criminal reasons, the Aisling may only
present their case in court before a judge. The judge may choose to
reinstate the lowest-level entry revoked. The judge may also require the
Aisling to retake and pass an exam before reinstatement. The Aisling must
successfully complete a term in that office without any disciplinary action
before higher offices may be reinstated.
d. Should an entry be reinstated pursuant to Section 4.b or 4.c, or should
the request for reinstatement be rejected, a post must be made on the
Judgements Board explaining the details of the reinstatement or rejection.

5. RECORD KEEPING
a. It is required that the Authorized Offices List be maintained on the
Judgements Board with the following details: the name of the Aisling,
permitted offices, the name of the most recent tester, the date of testing,
and the date last seen in office as recorded on the Political Discourse
Board. This list must be updated at least once every four (4) Moons. Judges
and Burgesses are responsible for maintaining this list. In the event that
neither are in office, or they fail to do so, a Guard Captain may update
the list.
b. It is required that the Revocation List be maintained on the Judgements
Board with the following details: the name of the Aisling, the date of
revocation, a brief reason for the revocation, and the name of the Aisling
who made the revocation. This list need only be updated as entries are added
or removed, and it must be reposted if it is at risk of falling off the
board.
c. To maintain integrity, these lists shall not be destroyed unless the
total number of either list exceeds four (4). In such a case, the oldest
list(s) may be destroyed.
d. Anyone who tampers with the Authorized Offices List or the Revocation
List in a malicious manner shall be found guilty of abuse of power. They
shall be found guilty of Mass Abuse of Power if the entries of three (3) or
more Aislings are tampered with.
6. PUNISHMENT/ENFORCEMENT
a. Should an Aisling assume an unauthorized office with intent, they shall
be removed from office. In the event they evade removal, a judge or burgess
shall review the case and may order barring from office.
b. Should an Aisling assume an unauthorized office by mistake, they shall
be given the opportunity to remove themselves if they so wish. Should they
refuse or attempt to evade removal, they shall be treated as defined in
Section 6.a.
c. Should the unauthorized office assumption occur due to a Respected
Citizen taking office as Guard (1) or Dema (1) without having passed the
required exam, they shall be given the opportunity to promptly pass the
exam. They will have eight (8) Suns ((24 IRL hours)) to do so. Failure to do
so, or failing the exam, shall be treated as defined in Section 6.b.
d. Should an Aisling have their entry for the office they hold revoked
while in office, they shall be treated as defined in Section 6.a.
e. Should an Aisling who is on the Revocation List assume an office higher
than Respected Citizen, they shall be exiled for one (1) Deoch.
f. Should the Authorized Offices List fail to be maintained at least once
every four (4) Moons, all Judges, Burgesses, and Guard Captains in office
at the time of failure shall be given two (2) major demerits.
7. ((ANTI-LOCKOUT))
In the event that a situation arises which makes compliance with this law
impossible or otherwise prevents anyone from taking office or achieving
higher ranks, the enforcement of the section(s) of this law that are
causing the issue shall be temporarily suspended. However, Section 6.e
cannot be suspended, and Aislings on the Revocation List shall not be
permitted to assume office at any time.
A post must be made on the Political Discourse Board detailing the
situation and specifying which sections of the law need to be suspended in
order to rectify the problem. This suspension shall be valid for a period
of two (2) Moons and may be revoked at any time. Any Aisling found abusing
this section shall be subject to capital punishment.
