If an aisling is pardoned from a suspension barment but commits crimes to be suspension barred again, the length for and possible review periods will be doubled. A third offense will result in permanent barment. If an aisling is pardoned from permanent barment but must be barred again they will be eternally barred from ever holding office. This political barment section shall have effect on all crimes and violations committed after the passage of this law only. Probation- Probation is a period when an official is under close watch and can also serve as a warning. There are two principal instances when this will transpire: Probation can serve as an official warning to officials who commit procedural errors and other errors as defined under Mileth law or defined in the respected conduct manual/handbooks and/or procedurals of each branch of government. Probation can also be placed on officials who are under investigation. This simply means they are closely watched. Probation does not restrict anything that would be attributed to the office, (Example- a guard cannot wear his uniform or take cases, or a Demagogue cannot vote on laws.) rather is serves merely as a warning or a signal to keep an official under close watch. The official on probation continues doing all of his previous duties without restriction. Probation can only be placed on an official as per the following: -Guard by a Guard Captain -Guard Captain by a Judge -Judge by another Judge with the support of another Judge or Guard Captain. -Demagogue by a Burgess -Burgess by another Burgess with the support of another Burgess or a Demagogue. A notice of the probation should be sent to the official being placed on probation and placed on the left most board in the Mileth Justice Hall. Probation can be removed by the official who placed the said official on probation, and if they have left office then another of equal rank, and notice should be posted the same as above. Probation only lasts the remainder of an officials term; it cannot carry over into additional terms. If there is not enough of an official type in office the standard substitutions apply. (3 Guards for 1 Captain, 3 Captains for one Judge, 3 Demagogues for one Burgess) If an official is illegally placed on probation in violation of this law the official who ordered the probation will be guilty of a misdemeanor like crime. They will be given an official warning, should it occur again within their term they should be removed from office.
