ZeoL - 220.05.25 - MAJOR DEMERIT - Snipar - Procedural Violations

Time: 220.05.25 - 5 p.m. ((2026-06-04T00:37:59.879Z))

For the failure to provide a piece of evidence in two cases:

Ionui - Sleephunting
SirBashalot - Sleephunting

I have decided to issue Snipar a Major Demerit. While I could issue him two Major Demerits for both cases executed in parallel, I am feeling somewhat lenient as it was done via legilimency. I would prefer cases be done subsequently, instead of concurrently.

If you wish to dispute my interpretation and review, please feel free to reach out to me, Judge bluenokkad or whomever is preferred.

I have reviewed the evidence on this case, which was investigated in parallel with another case. While the laws do not have specific verbal requirements, I find the verbalization of the intent to confirm whether or not the aislings were sleephunting to be sufficient.

However, as found in Mileth Law (JA: SP&E A.2);

The officer must show that the suspect is not on the officer's ignore list ((F9)).

This piece is missing in the evidence. Historically this was never required in older versions of Mileth Law. It is very clear that the individual was queried successfully way of whispers.

I have no reason to suspect Snipar would intentionally ignore an aisling he intends to investigate, and it would be up to the aisling to prove this occurred at the time of the investigation.

I will be issuing a major demerit for both cases missing this piece of evidence which is required by the law. Please be careful.
