Political Power Act IV

IV. Reviews

A. Categories

i. Investigations
A review for investigations may be opened either by request from those involved or with reasonable cause.

If there are any pending actions for the case(s) being reviewed, they must be put on hold with posts on the relevant boards where the actions were ordered.

The official opening a review must be from the relevant branch of office.

When reviewing the main goal is to determine if evidence is sufficient to merit the outcome.

ii. Actions
A review for further action for officials with the ability to do so.

A criminal or misconduct case is investigated and the investigating official determines guilt requiring actions they could not order.

A review should only be opened if the ability to order all actions that may be required is met; unless the extent of actions required is not known.

* Substitution/Superiority is not required for officials with no superior and no wrongdoing is found which would require further action.

B. Limitations

i. Timespan
All reviews must not be opened for longer than one moons, except where necessary and including an update indicating this beforehand.

Reviews may require waiting for an aisling to respond or become available, with evidence or other reasons.

If a review lasts longer than the official's term, they are responsible for finding a replacement, including any aislings required for substitution.

ii. Evidence
All reviews require communicating with the involved parties to acquire evidence.

Reviewing official must determine if the evidence is sufficient to merit actions or further action as required.

Should wrongdoing be found during the review, the official reviewing may close review and choose to open an investigation or take corrective/disciplinary actions should.
