ZeoL - 216.06.12 - PROBATION - Reias - Dereliction of Duty
Time: 216.06.12 - 1 a.m. ((2025-12-05T15:08:12.602Z))
This is a fairly complicated interpretation of the law however, I have
decided to give Reias a cross-term probation for failure to properly execute
action on the board misuse scenario they encountered on the Political
Discourse Board.
Key reasoning:
A. Failure to correct Dram on their improper use of a criminal warning
- Unofficially, Not in an official misconduct sort of way
B. Failure to indicate any actions being taken to a board
- Anyone could then investigate and step over her own mail to the aisling
C. Failure to inquire further about the state of the Board Misuse
- Acting without any evidence of the instance from Dram
D. Failure to confirm the aisling in question was indeed in office
- Turns out they had posted this without any change to their legend
I do want to issue two probations and remove Reias, but, since this was in
the previous term and I am feeling merciful like I was with Dram who I also
spoke to, I am foregoing a double probation reserved for their entry into
their next term.
Many of these things are not truly defined clearly by law, but, I do expect
it to be part of Judge's professional/impartial manor to properly inquire
about situations and correct people sternly/calmly, when they make a
mistake. But, that mistake must be fully examined and sure of. Any actions
they wish to take should not be based of faith and trust. I understand the
idea behind "I trust this person" but, this is not correct for law
execution. This is not something that would be acceptable in higher offices
in temuair. I would consider trusting someone without evidence in hand to
not be conducting one's self in an impartial manor.
Me and bluenokkad might consider holding training sessions for individuals
who are lacking experience. I haven't mentioned this to him yet but, as
ranking officers of the law in both time and experience, I feel it is our
duty to not fail our officials who are trying.
