Mileth Town Charter III
V. EVIDENCE
A. Keeping Evidence
Officials are required to keep evidence of the cases they take part in for two deochs after the case has been closed. In the event that evidence is required in a case, this timeframe also acts as the statute to expect such evidence to be collectable.
B. Fair Practice
Officials of Mileth have the right to act within the law where they see fit. This right does not apply to siblings ((alternate characters of the same player)). The usage of siblings to achieve unreasonable outcomes is Abuse of Power.
In instances where reasonably allowed by the law, but not limited to only this, an official or criminal may request a second review on a closed criminal/misconduct case where the first one was thought to be invalid. In the event that both conclusions are thought to be unfair or invalid, any officials involved will work with a Knight to reach a fair and reasonable outcome.
C. EVIDENCE FORMS
Evidence is required in all cases. There are four forms of evidence; memories, legilimency, journals, and verbal statements.
The investigating official will determine whether the evidence provided is sufficient. A Ranger or Knight may be requested to help determine the validity of evidence provided by any aisling.

Memories AKA Screenshots are created by the original Dark Ages game client by pressing the F12 key.
ONLY screenshots taken by using F12 will be accepted.
Mention of nis being visible throughout the law, means casting nis or equivalently having in-game time visible in the evidence.
If screenshots look manipulated or modified they are to be discarded.
It is the responsibility of the player to know where their screenshots are stored.
Screenshots are saved in the Dark Ages installation folder, typically:
64-bit systems: C:/Program Files/(x86)/KRU/Dark Ages
32-bit systems: C:/Program Files/KRU/Dark Ages
Evidence taken must reasonably prove that jurisdiction is proven or is not questionable.
Journals or verbal statements are admissible only when there is sufficient evidence to support it.
All physical forms of evidence must be unaltered.
Conversations outside of in-game are prohibited as valid evidence.
Compressed archives containing evidence such as *.7z and *.Zip are acceptable and HIGHLY recommended for forwarding evidence.
